Day 4 in Melbourne and I am just starting to relax.
The view from the apartment where I am staying now is postcard perfect. Szee took some pictures but I can't seem to load them up on the blog.
We went to Victoria Market on Saturday. We were so attracted by the deli /pastry sections. We are so spoilt for choices. Szee being a bread person (she can't live a day without bread) can identify what type of bread was nice. Oh dear, she's speaking to someone who probably just know how to eat. :P
"Best" of the whole trip to Victoria Market was that the Bai Cai was selling at $1. We bought that and guess what, we are not sure what to do with them. HA!! Then we decided to do a soup and pasta the following evening. We then went to buy more ingredients for the dinner. All these from a $1 Bai Cai sale.
We got tired from lugging all the stuff around and found a cafe and rest. Choc dessert, nothing beats it. :)
Sunday - Yarra Valley here we come. Imagine drinking at 10+am. I still remember that very first taste of wine. YUCKS!! But as the day goes by, the taste buds get better. The only thing we don't like was the guide seems to be rushing us all the time. Szee and I bought 5 bottles. For the records, we are NOT drunkards. Really, we are not.
Woke up at noon today and didn't leave the apartment till 4pm. Bought a pair of shoes which I really need to wear during my trip here. Lacoste on sale. :)
